Victorian Multicultural Commissioner

As the main link between communities and government, the Victorian Multicultural Commission engages with multicultural and multifaith groups to understand the issues they face. We then work together to identify and recommend potential solutions to government, policymakers and community organisations to make public services more inclusive and accessible.

Spectrum delivers services to newly arrived and/or established people with migrant and refugee backgrounds. My work involved strategic design and delivery of services to diverse communities and individuals to help them successfully settle in all aspects of community life.
Additionally, I led a number of partnerships and collaborations, including the Shared Prosperity research, mapping employment and entrepreneurship eco-system and journey for migrant/refgugee communities in the Hume area.

Leadership training and facilitator
The Centre for Multicultural Youth is a not-for-profit organisation based in Victoria, providing specialist knowledge and support to young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds. As a youth leadership facilitator, I delivered tens of leadership training sessions to young people from refugee background in schools, youth advisory boards, youth organsiations and in the community.

Ethnic Communities’ Council of Victoria (ECCV) is the peak body for migrant and refugee communities in Victoria. We work with more than 220 member organisations, including ethnic associations, multicultural service providers, and eight regional ethnic communities’ councils.
