Value Nation acts as a Data Controller for the data of users who own businesses (Merchants) and browsing data.
Value Nation acts as a Processor for the data of end customers (those who review the Merchant’s business), which is provided by Merchants. The processing of this data is governed by the “Data Processor Addendum” pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR. The Addendum is an integral part of the contractual relationship between Value Nation and the Merchant, along with this notice and the terms and conditions.
Value Nation does not use the data provided by Merchants for its own purposes, such as marketing, market research, communication to third parties, or dissemination. Merchants ensure that end customers are informed that their data will be processed by Value Nation and external data processors.
 
Glossary:
“Addendum” refers to the document governing the relationship between the Merchant and Value Nation regarding privacy.
“Personal Data” means any information concerning an identified or identifiable natural person.
